After downloading movies quicktime failure I downloaded (I am a newbee) Lime wire today, and I am trying to download some dvds, cause I have a dvd burner, well when I found something I wanted to check out it downloads it way to quick and says I am missing a file that I cannot get from quicktime. I am also trying to play the files as well and it won't let me it says that says the same thing, application requiers a file that is not available. Since I just started this on a new system I am running a 933 in osx 10.2.3, what programs might someone suggest to help me with this problem ..Freeware if possible. |

a little more info Here is a for instance, I am trying to download the Flinstones Dvd file so I typed in search for Flinstones, and I reveived only 1 match so I downloaded the file a mpg file, and the first time it didn't take, and then the second time it did, and it only took 4 seconds to download, and I opened the file and it says exactly this Couldn't movie cause software componets could not be found. Does anybody know of any possible software componets that I might need to full fill the request. |

thanks for the advice, but I needed to get some codec and all, so I found some on the net through limewire, but for somereason when I download them stuffit extracts them, but I cannot see where they went to to install them. Can someone please help me with this problem. |
