When I try to change the folder where files are saved I get an error message that says invalid directory for saving files. Please use another directory or revert to the defalut. If I use the default directory I get the same error message.

In order to answer your question, please say what operating system you are using and which version of Limewire you have. Then please say why you want to change from the existing Shared saving destination, and what file, directory and root you have tried to nominate to generate this error. With this information, perhaps someone can advise.

There are a number of threads on this issue now. Seems to be happening recently across all version s including PRO and across both Mac and PC (all OS's). Hopefully Limewire knows about this. Personally, I think it is a worm of some kind that has infiltrated the app to make it now work. I can't slelect any directories as my save/share directory and have reinstalled a numberof times etc. This problem seemed to start all of a sudden across existing versions and the latest release
