Can Not See File After Downloading in the Library
 

What is the problem? I download the song and then it says complete but then I go to the library and it is not there. I tried to refresh it and I restarted Limewire but it did not work. I appreciate the feedback.:confused: :confused:

If you chose not to share the folder for downloads, it doesn't show up in the Library view pane. Just search for the file on your hard drive to see where the completed file is stored, or go to the LimeWire prefs and check the directory settings for Saving.

i still don't understand why i download some songs the show up in the shared folder but when i download other songs i can never find them again and have to redownload them...explain please?

Files that completely download are moved to the folder/directory you set for "saved"--incomplete files are stored in the "incomplete" folder. Only folders that you share (and the incomplete folder which is not shared) show up in the Library Pane, so if you have chosen not to share your download folder, it won't show up in the Library Pane.

Look at you harddrive and your preferences to see what is stored and where.

Not all files you try to download succeed.
