![]() I've only had, oh, fifty thousand files quit before download was complete. And out of all of these I'd say . . . oh, let me think . . . hmm . . . oh, that's right, NONE, ZERO, ZIP, ZILCH have resumed at some point in the future. I had an earlier version of LimeWire that used to resume these files. But then my computer crashed and I had to upgrade. I guess I could ask why LimeWire seems to be going worse and worse, or why I bought a computer that only had one Gnutella client program written for it, but instead I'll just ask this: HAS ANYBODY EVER HAD AN INTERRUPTED DOWNLOAD RESUME? |

![]() . . .not since the Limewire developers removed the automatic resumption facility to help reduce the traffic management problems on Gnutella. Now, we all have to manage our own downloads and, by using the strategies discussed on this forum, nurse the successful connections to completion. ![]() |
