Quicktime doesn't have a "format" persay. It reads other file formats. Are you saying the little icon of a file you dl is a quicktime icon? If so, don't worry about it. Just open it up with whatever you use to play your music, and it'll change. |

MP3 format The MP3 format is the constant. The application that claims ownership over each file is a matter for you to decide. To set the "ownership" for the future, go into iTunes Preferences and select iTunes as the application for internet downloads. This choice may need to be refreshed whenever you download iTunes upgrades. |
