 WOW! New LimeWire Pro ROCKS! Ok, I am running a fairly new Dell with Windows XP, 512 memory, and a 1.7 Celeron Processor. I just downloaded 3.1.0 Pro and the speed is simply amazing! I am downloading at 79k where I use to download at 24k on a good day. I might add this is with a router on my machine, the firewall diabled and going for 4 star only downloads. In other words, fairly optimal download conditions when you consider the relative strength of my computer and the disabling of the firewall (still have the router, though). I don't imagine that everyone is getting results this good off the new Pro so I feel blessed. katgirl  |
