shared folder won't load it's entire contents It's not as if other performances by limewire have been nominal, but this one is particularly annoying. (probably becuase I have nothing to gain by correcting it, go figure). My shared folder will only load 381 of my files, but there are many more than that in the folder. NOT TO BE RUDE BUT PLEASE DON'T TELL ME TO HIT THE REFRESH BUTTON. I've tried this to no avail. But if you have any OTHER suggestions I'm all ears. |
That is most likely because you are sharing files with extensions that are not listed as the extensions you want to share in LimeWire's options. The list of extensions that it shares is available from Tools -> "Options..." -> "Sharing." You will see a section that is labeled "Shared Extensions" with a semicolon separated list of extensions that will be shared. Any file with an extension that isn't listed there will not be shared by LimeWire. |
thanks, that totally did the trick. i was sharing aac (.m4a) seeing as many of the users are actually mac users (windows users use REAL p2p networks) and that format wasn't listed in the defaults. thanks |
