![]() I find myself disabling ultrapeer capabilites except when I just want to wander away from my computer and be generous because it seems that when I am an ultrapeer, as many as 10 people are uploading from me even though my max uploads are set to 4 and even my cable bandwith gets worn thin. I have a firewall, albeit with a "hole" drilled through for LimeWire. I have LimeWire Pro, 3.4.4 and it seems to get a huge number of connections when I ultrpeer. I assume that is what is causing the high demand. I hate to not share because that is what makes the network. I am wondering if there is anything further I can do to limit uploads in ultrapeer mode. Thanks. katgirl |

![]() You've set your "max upload slots" to 4 and yet you see more than 4 uploads in the "Uploading" state? Note that uploads that are "Queued" are not using up any bandwidth -- they're just waiting for one of the 'uploading' guys to finish. |
