What to do with a .dmg??? If I download an application that is .dmg, what do I do with it? How do I access the program? Thanks:confused: |
On MacOS X (and occasionally on Mac OS 9) .dmg are Disk ImaGe files, which means they are mounted by the Mac utility Disk Copy as a virtual Mac volume on the desktop. If you don't use a Mac, they're probably no good to you. You can always share it and chat with others who upload it to check if it's a legitimate file to share, or just delete it. cheers |
