![]() I just noticed this a few days ago. If someone is uploading a file that I'm sharing, even if I'm only allowing one upload at the time and at most 3-5KB/s, my download speed goes to hell. For example, if nobody is uploading from my computer, I'm getting 20-30KB/s from several simultaneous downloads. As soon as someone starts downloading a single file, my download speed drops to 0.3KB!!! As much as I like to share my files, that's simply unnacceptable. So I'm afraid that while I'm download stuff, I don't allow anybody to connect to my computer. I only enable uploads at night or when I'm not downloading anything. Is it just me? Is it a bug in Limewire? Do I have something configured incorrectly? I don't have any problems if there is other network traffic going on (mail being downloaded, ftp download, etc). Any ideas? --Noel |
