It seems that almost everytime i try to either download a specific file or search my system freezes up for 15-60 seconds, sometimes it freezes while in the background as well..at other times (becoming fewer and farther between) it seems to run ok...I am running 3.5.8 Pro on a Mac G4 9.1...I have tried messing with the compresion settings, uploading volume, etc, etc.....anyone else having this problem? anyone know a soloution? Anyone, perhaps someone at Limewire, have any possible suggestions about how i might fix or at least reduce this annoying problem. I like using limewire, mainly because i have a Mac and this is the cream of the crop for searching and downloading as far as Mac goes, but it is really quite hard to use in this state. It also seems to have gotten worse as I have continually upgraded. I'm thinking about going back to an earlier version where this freezing problem was much less pronounced. Any input is appreciated.
