![]() I just got Limewire last night, and it worked fine. I quit the program last night, and this morning when I open it, it won't allow me to search at all! I filled out the blank for filename, but the "search" button is disabled. Anyone know why this is? Thanks alot! I'm running Mac OS X thru ethernet, and everything is plugged in. |

![]() LW needs to connect to others before the search button will work. Check View->Connections to see what is happening. If others aren't accepting your connections, try opening the OSX firewall (System Preferences->Sharing->Firewall->New->Gnutella/Limewire (6346), mapping/port-forwarding the router to your computer (see your router docs) and sharing more files. This makes it easier for other hosts to connect to you. |
