Please help...limewire freezing when a file I'm downloading finishes, and goes to save, the whole program freezes. The only way to stop it is to "force quit" (I'm on OSX Jaguar, BTW). Is there any way to stop this? I've been using this program for months with no trouble until this past week. I downloaded the latest version, but it has the same problem (it also opened with my last in-progress dl's still showing...dunno if this is relevant) Any information you have will be appreciated. Thanks. |

When a download says "complete" the message should change to "verifiying" and that time can be quite processor intensive while the file is being checked and a 'hash' prepared. Especially if the file is large, this can take quite a few minutes (and seem like a freeze), but patience usually pays off. Any chance this is all that's happening? |
