![]() I just tried downloading the following file: magnet:?xt=urn:sha1:IJUP7VDGLRBMVPV5...sik/nymphe.mp3 (This file (you can get via this magnet-link) is free to share, like all mp3s from http://draketo.de ) As it didn't find the file in Gnutella, Acquisition aka LimeWire defaulted to the Web-Location, from which a download should work all the time (works with a normal browser). But after 100kB the download stopped (host busy), resumes, when I told it too, but then stopped again after another 100kB (I played this game for some time, just for fun). My Server can supply dsl-users without problems, I didn't test it for higher connections, but it has four GWebCaches running on it (Don't already run one? http://gnucleus.com/gwebcache/ ) without choking. This means, that LimeWire drops connections unnecessarily. I'm using Acquisition 103.4, which should include the current beta-core of LW. |
