skippy downloads
 

After I download mp3's and click launch all of the downloads are skippy when I play them. I am downloading only 4 star results. Why is this happening? Is this a problem when launching and listening or am I getting bad downloads? I haven't tried putting any on CD's yet because I don't want to waste a CD until I know it's not a crappy download. Help!:confused:

What player are you using?
 

If you are using the LW player, it's always going to be skippy. The LW media player is crap. Go to Tools / Options / Player and uncheck the "Use LimeWire player?" box. This will cause LimeWire to use your system default player instead, with much better results.

Thanks for your feedback. You are right...it was the LW player. I figured out how to switch over to Windows Media Player and that's much better. Thanks a ton. :)
