Need more sources Can someone please tell me what the error 'Need more sources' actually mean? It seems strange (to me) that a search can find a result, but it can't be downloaded because enough 'sources' can't be found. Perhaps there's a setting Ineed to change? Pete |
Obviously not, then! Does anyone else have this problem? |
Ah, that could be it, then! I certainly run a firewall, but I didn't know it made a difference if the other user has a firewall. Never mind, I'll just keep trying. |
I have the same problem. It is even more annoying when it starts to download and then stops citing 'more sources' |
I have the same problem. I'm a new user since Kazaa lite is screwed. I loaded limewire yesterday and was very pleased that it located about 8 new movies in short order. I let it run from 5:30 yesterday to 10:00 this morning and did not download one byte. Everything just sitting there. I had offered almost 2000 files to upload at unlimited bandwidth but don't know exactly what was uploaded. |
Well if it is the firewall issue, it's a pain in the derrière! This is probably a bad idea (and I'd have to find out how to do it) but can I/should I disable my firewall, or can I configure Limewire to get around this problem? I'm fed up 'Waiting xs for 1 busy' then to be told I need more sources  Peter |
need more sources I rather think it is not a firewall-issue. Sometimes I have the same problem. But a couple of hours later the download will continue without any problems. It seems the source is temporary offline or maybe engaged. Try it later again. André |
