files verify, but don't go through save process

I am new to Limwire Pro. I am running OS 8.6 and having problems getting downloaded MP3s to save to my Shared folder. About 75% of the downloads I complete go through the verification process, but do not go through the "saving file" process once the download is complete. These files appear in my shared folder, but are not playable. Those that do save have a Quicktime icon next to them and are playable in any MP3 player. Files that don't work have a blank folder icon next to them. Am I missing something on my computer? I recently changed several of my settings based on Leeware's posting and of the 6 songs I downloaded, two of them saved. I've searched all over this forum and haven't seen this particular problem addressed. I am having the same problem with MPEGS and WAV files as well, but more concerned about solving the MP3 issue. I would appreciate any and all ideas. Thanks.

I read some similar posts but I can´t remember that I read about a fix...

As a PRO user you should ask the developer for help:

It might be a bug or something which needs their attention.

et voila,
i appreciate the information. i went ahead and downloaded LW beta from the link you provided. all i got was the basic Limewire program, which was much slower to download and I still experienced the same problem. I'm not sure where to go from here. Thanks again.
