"Verifying file contents" CAN I DISABLE THIS FEATURE? Please tell me there is a way to disable "Verifying file contents!" It is extremely irritating this action takes place AFTER downloading a file is complete (at least when it USED to be complete). It takes twice the time to download! Help appreciated. |
I donīt know where the problem is but this isnīt normal. For a normal sized MP3 my computer needs 1 or 2 seconds. Morgwen |

Yup, I'm MacOS 9.1. I have OSX, but I still don't like using it yet. So is this verifying thing only a Mac safety function? I'd LOVE to get rid of it! |
I messed around with OS X today and could only update it as far as 10.04. ____________________________________ *I wrote the following in another thread here I can't even download Limewire for OS X because I'm stuck on 10.04 and for some strange reason I can't unstuff .dmg files. I can't even download Stuffit Expander for OS X because I CAN'T UNSTUFF THE FILE! How crazy is that? I've tried to download OS 10.1.5 and higher but it does me no good because I can't launch the files (.dmg). Anybody have a solution for that? |
