I have recently started having the same problems. I am not able to download anything - it just sits at qued for hours. It is not an actual queing problem though because it happens no matter what I try to download, and it cannot possibly be that everybody is downloading every song that i want, from the same user.

Is there any possible reason for this to happen? I recently updated my OSX to 10.3.2, however I am running the classic version of Limewire because I found the OSX version to be incompatible already.

If anyone could offer some insight, that would be great.

I found that using Limewire thru "Classic" does virtually nothing...it doesn't even cookie filenames (songs, artist's, etc.) as you type them!

I can't even download Limewire for OS X because I'm stuck on 10.04 and for some strange reason I can't unstuff .dmg files. I can't even download Stuffit Expander for OS X because I CAN'T UNSTUFF THE FILE! How crazy is that? I've tried to download OS 10.1.5 and higher but it does me no good because I can't launch the files (.dmg).

Anybody have a solution for that?


Oh...yeah, so sminchom, I wouldn't even bother with Limewire in Classic mode, virtually nonexistant.

I still have to run 9.1.

I use Classic and until recently have found it as good as kazzaa and winmx on the pc but have had the same problem with everything being queued and I don't care what anybody says about being patient because NOTHING will download. I too have tried re-installing the software but still have the same problem. Any help from anyone please????
