Default Artist searches

Why, when I put the name "Spirit" into the "Artist" box, do I get 224 songs with "Spirit" in the title, but not even one by that band? I know there's stuff by Spirit out there.

Make at least 5 or 6 searches at once, in fact with the latest Limewire all the you need to do is hit "s" and it'll cookie the word Spirit in for you, just keep hitting return. I OFTEN find that the 3rd or 4th search gets the most results.

Scooby Snacks,
that does absolutely nothing to get better search results. Search results change with the hosts that you are connected to. Which is almost constantly changeing. In order to get better results try to connect different hosts (visit the connections tab). I hope this helps.

So how do I select other hosts? Double click them?

you remove some of the connected hosts and LW will connect to other ones by itself.

Double clicking does not connect you to other hosts. It only highlights the IP adress. The list of IP's on the screen are the host that LW is trying to connect to. Most do not respond but some do.

When I said faster and easier I meant the cookie function, simply make more searches then try to mess with IP hosts.

Within a few seconds you'll know which search to keep and which ones to close.

To each his own I guess.
