Default Can connect, but find few files

Changed from a dial up connection to on a network. I can get a green light to show up, and i can find new files, but i see that all the files i had started downloading while on dial up i now never find any sources for. does this mean im now only connected to people on the same network as i am? or any other reasons or solutions that some how could get connected to more users.

Under "options" in one of the dropdown menu's you can select whether you want your searches to include 56K, cable, T-1, etc., as well as 1 star to 4 star files.
Maybe you just need to update those prefs?!?

ScoobySnacks, dude, he is not asking how to refine his searches, he is not getting any search results. Pancake1, most of the time networks do ot offer direct connections to the internet. You might not be getting very many search results because you are not connected to enough and/or the right hosts. I would have stayed with dial-up eventhough it is slow.
