Angry Don't want to share my stuff with Freeloaders

Hi y'all,

I need help in finding out how I can prevent freeloaders from getting access to my files and upload stuff.

When I check under Monitor, there are always people uploading stuff from my hard disk, but their own systems can not be browsed and they disabled the chat option. I take these are freeloaders that want to take but not give. Doesn't work with me, but I can't figure out how to prevent that.

Tried under options and set the minimum no. of files share for someone not be a freeloader to 100 and set the system to "rarely" allow freeloaders.

Well, all I'm getting are freeloaders, and I don't like this. Can anyone tell me how to prevent freeloaders from accessing my files entirely?

Thanks a million,
Ra'ed

You cannot really confirm they are freeloaders so you cannot prevent them from accessing your files.

They might just be firewalled. - Since two firewalled hosts cannot download from each other all the firewalled hosts have to download from the non-firewalled ones. (The non-firewalled hosts usually download from firewalled hosts because they are usually less busy).

That would only work, if you were an ultrapeer and all other ultrapeers did that too. For some reason, LimeWire never changed the default setting so freeloaders wouldn't be able to connect to Gnutella.
