Please help if possible

Limewire can be so wierd sometimes. Right now im finally getting connection to limewire but downloading now takes forever. I have a fast connection but everything is taking forever. My kb/s is at 1 all the time when it used to be at 12. Doese anyone know why this is happening or a way to fix it? Thanks for the help
