I cannot log on to Gnutella Network

When ever I try to log onto Limewires Gnutella Network I am unable to connect for more than 3 secounds. Why is this happening? It's been going on for three weeks.

3 seconds are nothing, if you aren´t able to connect for a few minutes come back and post again...
