for some reason when i download songs i get this large amount of album arts. is there anyway i can make it stop doing this...im tired of having to manualy delete every single one of them

I have found that Album Art only comes with certain files (and with Kazaa, one of the many reasons I switched). Since there is no way to see what you dl before you dl it, I'm afraid that there is not really any defense against it.
