![]() all the files i download, whether it is an mp3, mpeg, jpg, it doesnt matter, they all are limewire files when they finish and of course, limewire cant play them or view them or anything, how do i get around this? is there an option im missing in limewire? it is the basic version on a non osx mac. also, awhile ago i used to use limewire and it worked fine then, but since my computer had serious problems and the hard drive was deleted, its really agrevating because im trying to get some of the songs i had back and i cant. |

![]() The OS9 Finder's invisible database.db file has lost track of which application opens each file type. Norton and other utilities like Tech Tool (Google will show you the free one available) can rebuild the file, or just hold down the command and option keys just before the icon for the hard disk loads in the startup sequence. You can also set individual file types via the control panels for QuickTime and File Exchange. |
