This is the name of a file I downloaded and when I launch it, there is no sound and only black on the screen. I tried opening with Windows Media Player XP Version 8.0. I then tried using DivX Player (version 2.5.3) and it says it cant read video data FourCC code "0". May need to install new video Codec. That last part lost me. I'm not sure what I need to do so a crash course would be appreciated.

Upon doing more researsh and the error message I get with FOURCC code "0", it is possible the file is fake. Anyone know about this error?

It is possible that the file is corrupt. Scan it with an Anti-Virus before you run it (I learned the hard way to scan every file I downloaded before I ran it, so I suggest you scan them before you play them). Good luck and be careful.
