![]() I noticed the other day that my preferences had been set to only search for T3 or Higher, which I cannot in my wildest dreams imagine choosing myself. Is it possible that these mysterious T3 industry backed suppliers of corrupt files have managed to attach a virus that changes preferences or have I just gone insane one night and clicked this by accident? (It's not impossible, just unlikely but then so are lots of things that happen in my life). It would make sense if they did, since that's the speed they are operating on and with this option selected all I EVER got was listings of T3 supplied corrupt files. Once I set it back to accepting all speeds I've got no shortage of genuine files to choose from again from T1's on down. Oh, and by the way, I now routinely use the excellent launch facility with any music file downloads when the file is a few percent downloaded. This quickly alerts me to a corrupt file as those don't play anything and the progress bar skips to the end within a second or so - so I can kill the download and not waste my time with it. |
