first time user and god do I need help

Ok first when i search for a movie and it comes up and says 1 of 2 how do I know who to get the 2 from cause the way I am understanding it is that there are 2 parts you have to down load, please correct me if I am wrong.

Second, I can not seem to get the movies that I donwloaded that didnt turn out to be movies off my library, why is that.

And last for now, my wmp keeps telling me that it can not play that format, how do I correct this or what other device can I use.

Oh and how can you tell if it isnt a movie before you download it.

Please help me this is my first time doing this and I am so frustrated already.
