 -What computer Dell Portable -What Operating System Windows XP Professional -Type of internet connection LAN connection -How you are connected to the internet (as in what 'boxes' are between your machine and the telephone line) ups, it's that:? 3Com 3C920 Integrated Fast Ethernet Controller (3C905C-Tx Compatible) - WinVNC -What other programs you may have running at the same time as LimeWire Inbox(mail), excel and internet. -Also, is your LimeWire v 3.8.7 a 'new' and 'first-time ever' install, or have you re-installed it or made an upgrade from an earlier version ? First time ever! -Last question for now... When you click on the Connections tab in LimeWire, what do you see ? I see 4 hosts connected. Many thx.  |
