I have been on here for 5 days and have not been able to even one time download a complete file. No matter what file i search for it will either not have a source or will download partially never to start again. Waste of money and I amgetting my money back. Not like anyone helps you when you ask either. This sucks

What I realize is that the configuration/or your setup sucks. You have to open port 6346 on your firewall and forward that port to your machine if you have a router. BTW why not trying the free version before buying it? That way you would have seen what it looks like before... And I bet no other P2P is performing well either on your 'puter Man, if you want to learn how to learn a tool, you can ask, but you can't say something sucks when your skills at that tool are well under average

it was better than the one i paid for but i gues you onbly figure that out after tha fact. it was uploading fine and then nothing so routers and firewalls are not the proble,. Then it said need more sources after downloading for an hour on all three downloads. I have not been able to get anything since. I dont pay for something twice. first just to get access and then to upgrade the download software to have to manually do everything myself to make it work. I have no firewall up.

Okay so you're not the typical noob, I apologize Ok what area you dling? Movies, music, programs.... Always select files with the highest number of sources (in the left side of the search column bar). When it asks for more sources, there is a button in the download window that you can click on when you select the file in need of sources. If you are dling movies, enable the vendor column (right click on the column bar) and try to avoid files with RAZA sources.

with the fre version i got 3 files for [Edit] with the paid verison i got 2. They were uploading fine on the free one but then stopped and said needed more sources. Well i am not going to sit around all day waiting for that. I thought this was a premium version. I just get tired of being ripped off. I paid 20 bucks for the access and then 18 for Pro and have gotten nothing for it in 3 days. that makes me angry. Video files

Well, you have to be an active downloader with LW in the sense it will not search for new sources without your intervention. It is not because LW can't do it, but because of other clients abusing the query by hash function (find more sources used in the LW 2.8 series more than a year ago). As you know, Gnutella is composed of multi vendor such as bearshare, morpheus, limewire shareaza and many others but some of them were crippling the network with too much hash quesries, so LW blocked them up to now. If you don't want to help LW to find more sources, then LW is not for you. Try another P2P, where the selection of files might be smaller, but it will "try" to find more sources.

The use of 'another client' within the Gnutella Network will not at all necessarily mean "the selection of files might be smaller..."

Heu..., Ursula, P2P means gnutella, fasttrack, ares, winmx, directconnect and zillions of others... One person has more chance (probability) to try another client that is not gnutella than one that is... (this seems logic ). BTW searches don't go through all the Gnet... When I search for rare songs on LW I don't get the same hits as Bearshare (in number and files identity (hashes)). There is more rare music available on the LW portion of the Gnet than the Bearshare's one for now. (and those two have zillions more rare stuff than the one accessibile in Morpheus for exemple).
