Corrupt files everytime I try to download...?
 

I have been using LimeWire Pro since about 6 months ago but ever since installing some of the recent upgrades I have been unable to complete a single download - they are all corrupt!

This surely can't simply be that all files are corrupted, I have selected "show only 4 star results", "show only cable/dsl" and all other standard stuff in this forum - my ADSL connection seems to be running fine... I don't understand...!?

Can anybody shed any light here?

First, quit, empty your incomplete folder (including the downloads.dat and downloads.bak files), restart LW and try again.

Is it o.k. to click ignore curruption and continue downloading file ?

sure--if it's a music or video file, it may skip, but you'd still see/hear enough to know if it's worth looking for an uncorrupted one. If it's a program, then no. Do scan it for viruses, and don't share it back though.
