Mac to PC programs from burnt disk!
 

Hey out there, any help would be great. I download a PC program
on Limewire on my Mac burn it, bring it home to install on my new PC. Load disk it tells me I need a program to open the CD. This is confusing me, it's a burnt CD with a program and documents in it. Am I doing something wrong. Thanks EFAN

What is the filename .ext ension ?

If it is

.sit

as a guess, than you need Stuffit which is a file compression program...

You can download it by clicking on the

.sit Files ? link in my 'sig' below...

I mention .sit files only because it's a fairly logical guess and giving you at least that info now may speed things for you...
Obviously, if it's a different file type, come back and ask for more help...

I'd say efan burned the CD as a Macintosh volume (i.e. with a HFS+ Filesystem). It must be either ISO 9660 or Mac/PC Hybrid...
