Well hey, I'm not complaining (well, maybe a little). I'm glad I never got to use the built-in 56k modem of my iMac (I'd like to do it once to see how that goes) and 125kbps is not just good; it's excellent. Waaaay better than the now crappy speeds of 5 and 7kbps I was getting at the beggining.

i have a 1Mbps connection but can only get a max download speed of 90 kbps. can anyone help.

dav, if you're getting 90KBps (KiloBytes) then you shouldn't be expecting any more.
If you're getting 90 kbps (kilobits) then you are right. That's damn slow.
