![]() Hey, I'm experiencing extremely low download speeds. I have a 512k connection, and usually download files at around 50-60kb/s. But whenever I use a filesharing application, this speed drops considerably. When I download a file from Kazaa, from a high bandwidth user, I get speeds of no higher than 5kb/s, usually below 1kb/s. Limewire is slightly faster than Kazaa, I get seeds of around 10kb/s. However, I spoke to a friend who has a similar connection to mine (600k) and he says that he downloads files off kazaa at aprox. 60kb/s. How?- I set my connection appropriately (Cable/DSL), yet I fail to get speeds faster than dial-up, even though I download from high bandwidth users. How can I get these speeds? - Tom |
