Default will not respond

after uninstalling the limewire i had , i downloaded limewire again(correctly i believe).

all seemed as it should be but when i type in a song search nothing happens..... no box pops up... no activity!

is there a 1800# i can call?

one message i got was "your clients leaf node is shielded by ultrapeer"..... i'm lost as to what this means....

please help is possible

There's no 1-800# (Pro users get email support), so give more details (see http://www.gnutellaforums.com/announ...?s=&forumid=22 )

The 'sheilded' message just means you won't see many words that people are using to search the network, because you are connected to machines running as Ultrapeers. They are filtering other people's requests so your "leaf" connection isn't swamped with too many requests.
