Huge difference between video and music download speeds Hi, more then likely a thread like this exists already but I have attempted to look for it and cant fine one. Basically I can download most music files at about 40kb/s but whenever I download any video file its a miracle if the download speed reaches above 4kb/s and averages more like 2kb/s. I know video files are bigger but Im guessing this shouldnt effect the speed in which it downloads. Ive tried downloading many videos and the same happens for all of them, even WinMX is faster at downloading video files and I thought that was slow.
I am using broadband, the latest version of LimeWire and Windows ME. If anyone can help me with some suggestions on how to maybe increase the download speed of videos I would be grateful ... or maybe Im just an ignorant sod and this is normal.
Thanks
