Viewing Movies I am a new limewire user, I downloaded an avi movie last nite, when I tried to watch it it would not play (wrong format) I looked up the file on my hard drive, and it is a video clip format. How do I change it back to avi format??? |

Do you have another movie player to use to try to play it? What do you mean by a video clip, what's its extension & what type of file does it say it is (file properties)? If you're sure it had an avi 'after' you dwnlded it, you could try re-adding it & trying it again. (make a backup 1st) Last edited by Lord of the Rings; July 18th, 2004 at 01:16 PM. |

I've had an issue where I've dwnlded a file but a file from another source with same size but differing name or extension has dwnlded in the end (maybe swapping over during the dwnld process). Try the above suggestions in the previous post & see how that goes. |
