trouble dragging songs to musicmatch

When I download songs off Limewire, I would then liek to drag the songs over to Musicmatch so I can make a cd from the songs. But it won't let me. im so confused!

Sorry I'm not a Windows person, but surely you can open them from within MusicMatch (use the open file command within Musicmatch & direct it to where your LW audio files are)? If not, you have a problem. There's more than one way to create an audio CD (is that an audio CD/mp3 disk you want?)! What type of burner software do you have?

(Sorry my responses are a bit slow b/c I'm on a dialup modem & I'm dwnlding an entire concert.) Have you ever burnt an audio cd with S.B.N.? I think you'll find you can drag the songs to it (set it to audio cd) or import them from within S.B.N. Did you try opening them from 'within' Musicmatch yet?

Yeah, I tried opening them from Musicmatch, but they arn't saved anywhere on my computer. And yes, I've used S.B.N. before, but none of my music is showing up on there.

Go to your LW menu & Tools-Options, look at Saving & see which folder you are dwnlding to (you cannot drag the files from your LW window to any other applic. The window is purely a reference.) Use Explorer if necessary to find this dwnld folder. Now try again with Musicmatch. The files MUST be saved somewhere on your computer! In future, make your dwnlds folder somewhere easy to find. Even put a reference to it into Explorer so it's easy & quick to find! You can change its location via the menu-Tools-Options-saving prefs menu.
Not having a pc version LW I sometimes forget the menu bar is a bit different. Options is found under Tools; ie: Tools - Options - Save
Hope you solved your problem.
