![]() Actually I run the same version. Yeah when you delete the file from the dwnld list, it shows up on the search pane as thread paper. Just reselect it (the threaded paper) to dwnld again (& this icon will change back to a dwnld icon.) I do it quite frequently to spur on files to begin dwnld/re-start to dwnld. Depending on how old your search results are (they do go stale after a while - people log on/off all day long), do another search. It can help to do searches of the same item every now & again (if the file is not dwnlding), particulrly if killing & reselecting the dwnld several times before each search doesn't work. Also new searches might find new sources. Try this. Last edited by Lord of the Rings; August 9th, 2004 at 12:09 PM. |

![]() What is the Quality rating of the file (how many stars)? Most people have difficulty dwnlding files that only have a single/2 star rating in the search window. Always try for those that have 3 or 4 stars. You can go to your LW menu Tools-Options-Searching-Quality & set the minimum. This will filter out of your search results those that have poor connection reliability. What will be left should be easier to connect to. Those that have multiple sources should also be easier to dwnld from. Also add .avi to your searches if it is specifically avi files you want. Hope this helps.
