![]() Hello, Up until a few days ago I was downloading on a regular cable modem and was averaging 40 kbps per download, give or take depending on the peer I was connected with. Now, with a new wireless ethernet card, I am averaging 5 kbps no matter who I am sharing with. I have checked all of my options to try and optimize bandwidth, but so far I cannot pinpoint the reason for such a dramtic slowdown of download speed. The two computers I have networked with the wireless router are both now at this speed. Is there something I need to do to get the two networked computers to run at my former fast speed? I show an excellent connection at the bottom of the screen, but I still cannot get a fast download to save my life. Any help or info on solutions greatly appreciated.... Thanks, Brandon |
