new to limewire, searches not working, please help!

Hi, I just downloaded Limewire. Whenever I try to search for a song things come up in the "media", "artist", and "album" boxes, but nothing ever comes up in the main box. Therefore, I can't seem to download anything. Am I making a mistake of some kind? Is Something wrong with my Lime Wire? I expect I'm just making a stupid mistake since I'm new to this program but please help me because I'm really frustrated and confused. Thanks.
