can't share
 

i just downloaded limewire for my mac (mac os X 10.3.3) and at the bottom of limewire it says that my quality is excellent and all the bars are green... i am connected but then under that it says that 0 files are being shared in red and i can't download anything! what's going on! help!

When u 1st open LW, all your shared files will appear red. LW takes a few mins to accunt for them. As it does, you'll see the no. of shared files increase bit by bit. If you've just added a share folder, make sure u did it correctly. Go to LW Prefs, Sharing, & press the Add button, then press Apply & OK buttons. I suspect u didnt press the Apply button which means these new shared folders will not be included in real-time until the next time u open LW.

I forgot to mention, after you have applied the new new shared folders, fo to your LW Library window & press the Refresh button. Now all the files will be added to LW but it may take a few mins for LW to account for them all. U can watch as your LW shared files increases & all the files will 1 by 1 turn to black.
