I can connect and download music without a single problem, but after my music is downloaded... I can't find it! I [think] I have the folder matching for it to be put in .. but it still isn't there! I also have a folder from Kazaa, and when I hit "refresh" ... it doesn't end up in there either. HELP! My computer ate my music!

Go to your LW menu Tools-Options & Saving. There it will tell you the name, location & path of LW's dwnld folder. If you can't locate it, use Explorer to search for it using the name u found. As a hint, make a shortcut to it for easy & quick access such as putting it into Explorer. Now you know where the LW Dwnld folder is, you can movie the files out by drag & drop, etc. and/or direct your audio apps to it. If you want your dwnlds to show up in LW's Library window, you will need to share it. Go to LW's menu Tools-Options & Sharing. Add this folder (now you know its location & path) & don't forget to press the Apply button & ok. Now u can go to LW's Library window & press the Refresh button. Your new shared folder (the dwnld folder) will display in your list of shared folders & click onto it & its files will appear to the right of it. Hope this solves your mystery.

Okay, so I got the first three songs I downloaded in a folder ... but like the other ten I downloaded aren't there! Now what? [Also, thanks so very much for the help!]

If you remember their names, do a search for them OR just search for mp3. They'll be there somewhere. And try to find out why they are where they are. Sure there's not a mysterious family member who might have moved them when you were not looking? Did u find out the name of your LW Dwnld folder then?

My Kazaa files are under "My Shared Folder" and my LW songs are under "Shared." I hit refresh, nothing happens. Its like they disappeared. I live in a dorm, and I'm the only one thats been on my computer... so no one could have deleted them. Where are they? I feel so small.

Also, when they are downloaded, where are they supposed to go? Directly to the folder? Or do you hit refresh for them to go there?

Wait! My songs are in my folder now! I can see them! And play them! WOO! Thanks for the help ... it is appreciated! I just had to re-download them... thats all.

The process is: when the files have completed dwnlding, LW moves them from the Incomplete folder to the LW Dwnld folder (don't get confused b/w these 2.) Any new additions to any shared folders, will remain dormant until you either (a) Refresh the LW's library (it will do a recheck & recount of all files sharing), OR (b) the next time u start LW it will go thru the same process just after opening it.

I'm not sure why your shared folders are not showing up in LW's Library window. I'd suggest you go back to Tools-Options & Sharing & highlight those folders & press the remove button. Press Apply & ik. Now go back & re-Add them to the shared folders (don't forget to press the Apply button.) Then refresh the Lib's window.

The only times I've had that issue was when I had the identical file in one shared folder & another as well. I think I solved it by the above process; ie: removing & then re-Adding the folder to the shared list. Hope this helps.
