switched to wireless, no more downloads
 

recently i began to have problem with downloading on
my limewire.

the turning point was when i changed my internet
connection from earthlink's wired cable connection to
it's wireless cable connection. the latter is called
"wireless" but it's only semi wireless, a hybrid with
cable connection.

anyways, since i've gone partially wireless, my
downloads stop after around 10~40 seconds of
consecutive downloading. then there is no downloading
for a long while... downloading may resume if i
restart the limewire... but then it stops after 10~40
seconds...

the connection is indicating as being fair, good,
excellent or turbo... i've looked into the limewire
setting and don't see any problem... meanwhile the
problem persist... and i would like to get a solution.
btw, i tried dling the international version of
limewire just in case that would help, but i couldn't
even download that for more than 40 seconds.

there may thus be a problem with my computer... but i
don't know... i've had virus/trojan issues... but i
don't think i've had any new events in that aspect...
i've clearly encountered a negative change since the
wireless emplementation... so, if any one has an idea
how to solve this... or what the exact problem is,
please reply.

do a virus scan to make shure it's no virus, than download the latest java,
tell us if you have proxies
