Corrupt Songs I want to download this one file, but every one I click on is corrupt. So I spend all that time downloading, and the song doesn't work right. How can you tell if a song is corrupt? |
Usually LW will pop up a message warning of corruption before you download it. Other than that you just need to find a file that is not corrupt. Use the 'priview' button to make sure the file is not corrupt shortly into the download. Good luck. deepblue |
Viruses Hi, I think that I may have gotten a virus into my iPod through a file I downloaded on the Gnutella network...it was actually using Frostwire, but this seemed an appropriate thread to ask... Two of the songs I tried to download were hard to find, and although the file sizes were appropriate for a song, when I went to listen to them, there was nothing but quiet static. I immediately deleted the "songs" from both the iPod and iTunes. Now I am having intermittent problems with no sound from my earphones, and the unit not producing any sound from my FM broadcaster in my car. I have already tried restoring my iPod twice with the latest software through iTunes, but no luck. Has anyone heard of this ? Any suggestions to fix it ? Thanks, James |
Try the iPod support site Apple - Support - iPod Or the iPod forums. This is a search for no sound...see if any posts help. If not, use some different search terms & see what shows up. Apple - Support - Discussions Search Discussions |
