Default Problem with limewire download

Hello new forum user here.

I am hoping someone can help me I have been downloading songs from Limewire to my imac using OS X for a while now on and off and have had no problems. Recently however I have tried to download the following song "**** it is from the soundtrack of the new film ****. I have downloaded the song from several sources but after they have successfully downloaded I play them on itunes and they all start ok but then go back to the beginning of the song and start again until they get to the same spot and start again and so on. In other words I am only getting a short intro to the song over and over again. Does anyone know the cause of this?

Thanks for any help.

Graham

Avoid T3 connections, some of them offer corrupt files.

Hi Graham

Thanks for the heads-up. Looks like someone is feeding bad files onto the network--and those files are probably supposed to be copyright. Makes me think someone is trying to develop a list downloaders of some kind. Try alternatives (4:07 length). I just did a quick check and out of 10 separate files, most were as you said.

btw--you should edit your post to remove mention of specific files that may not be permitted to share, even though it is obvious you are testing the network.

Cheers
[edit--good job here Morgwen]

Thanks for the help. Sorry I mentioned specific files I didn't realise there may be a copyright issue and I will certainly bear it in mind in future.

Cheers
