haha, well try LW 4.1.5 beta at http://www.limewire.com/english/content/beta.shtml

You know we're running out of solutions!

Bonne chance

edit: try also to to allow freeloaders in options-advanced-freeloader allow freeloaders to always. This setting doesn't work anyway.

Yes--I'm stumped. What changed for XP in the last month that would affect only uploads or limit many of the incoming connections?

. . . unless the ISP is experimenting with gnutella throttles on uploads, like they did to me last year.

During the last month, I talked with my ISP (Cox) and arranged for the commercial cable to be installed at my home along with a static ip. Our understanding was that I would be running web servers, etc. and that ALL ports would be available and not restricted in any way.

I have a second system which is connected to the standard home cable/internet with a dynamic ip. It is on a seperate cable modem and router (same brand/models). It has none of these problems. So I doubt that the ISP is involved or restricting.

Well . . . best wishes. If you want me or someone to test downloading from you, send a file name or magnet (or post one on your web page).

Also, LeeWare helps sharers with upload testing--just add a note to the end of his sticky http://www.gnutellaforums.com/showth...516#post102516

cheers

I tried to have a direct connection on your IP:6346, but it doesn't work as it should had. I can get to your web site on port 80 though. Try changing your port in LW prefs to 1234 (don't forget change port forward on your router too). And i'll try again.

Bonne chance

Salut et voilà
Cobra8007 and I were able to connect (different port), and I was able to browse and chat through both his LimeWires, but unable to download. He was able to download from me.

He showed small files being uploaded successfully, but they never arrived on mine. He saw that large files showed the connection starting, then as interrupted.

I'll send this to Sam, and Cobra8007 plans to talk to his ISP.

cheers
