I have run Limewire for several hours now and find that those whose IP address is very similare to mine can download from me. At least those whose first two (xxx.xxx.nnn.nnn) are the same. My Isp uses 68.97.xxx.xxx for their dynamic and 24.248.xxx.xxx for their static. Only these people are downloading from me.

Any ideas?

Something like http://www.sandvine.com/products/ppe8200.asp would do that--primarily preference other hosts on the WAN.

I haven't heard anything back, but I wondered if another gnutella client (like BearShare) is affected the same way.

Default Bearshare

Yes, Bearshare, Morpheous, Winmx all work fine. Limewire works very well in all functions except uploads.

1.) The ISP is not blocking.
2.) Port selections have no effect.
3.) Completely re-installed package.
4.) Turned off all firewalls and antivirus.

The only conclusion is that Limewire has some coding that needs modifying.
