can i still download a song if it says modem on the screen but i have cable?

lol Modem generally refers to a dial-up connection type. All it means is that a dial up will be slower to dwnld & upld from. They might also be more difficult to connect/less reliable connection to b/c they'll probably have less slots & bandwidth to share. Particularly if they have popular files. Nothing at all wrong with dwnlding from dialup modem users. It'll do them good, but it might just take a little longer for you unless you're dwnlding from more than one source. Don't be prejudiced. They're trying their best with what they've got!
